Welcome to the ATL edition of the Warrior, Healer, Builder retreat and the WHB journey. This is a journey for Afrikan people; it's a safe place to be Afrikan. This retreat is for those who are currently or plan to work with and for our people. The concepts and tools presented here are to help you succeed in that work by increasing your awareness and skill in all three areas. The concepts are simply profound and simply explained. The time is spent in reflection, discovery and practice giving you time to develop the skill of application to transform your situation.

Afiya & Wekesa Madzimoyo
Afiya and Wekesa Madzimoyo married on December 31, 1988 and have since then worked
side-by-side building several businesses and organizations, chief among them AYA Educational
Institute . Currently Wekesa serves as the Head of the Institute, and Afiya is the Chief Administrator.
WHB is the foundational upon which AYA's Educational research and programs are built. Since 1988 AYA's programs have immersed students, parents and other adults into an African-centered educational and social environment that is rich in our past and culture. These tools enable them to succeed in their current and future responsibilities to themselves, their families, our community, our people and the world -- in that order.
